Salesforce application update (Digit Learning)
Audit and update of the Digit Learning Salesforce application to meet sales team requirements.
Context
Digit Learning, an online professional training school, had been using Salesforce for 2 years with custom objects (Student, Mentor, Training). Project manager Jeanne Pierron requested a comprehensive audit followed by a full modernization: a new data model supporting multiple simultaneous enrollments, automation of manual processes via Flows, and reporting dashboards for sales teams and management.
Problems Identified at Audit
- Rigid data model: impossible to enroll a student in multiple trainings simultaneously
- Repetitive manual tasks: enrollment creation, payment tracking, follow-ups — no automation
- No reporting: sales reps and directors had no visibility on key indicators
- Unimported data: students, mentors and trainings managed outside Salesforce in Excel files
Improvements Deployed
- Data model refactored: intermediate Enrollment object enabling multiple enrollments per student
- Salesforce Flows automating enrollment creation, payment status calculation and follow-up reminders
- Sales reports: active students per training, conversion rate, revenue by period
- Management dashboard: real-time KPIs (enrollments, revenue, satisfaction rate)
- Data import via Data Loader: students, mentors and trainings migrated from Excel files
- Quantitative productivity gain analysis: estimated time saved per user per week
